Granular Scholarship Details
Eligibility
- Must be pursuing or planning to pursue a degree in marketing, advertising, business or a related field.
- Must be currently enrolled (or planning to enroll, if in high school) full-time at an accredited college or university in Wisconsin.
- Level: High school students entering the first year of college or current undergraduate or graduate students.
- Occurs: Bi-annually Applicants: Must be legal US residents.
- Award: $500 each spring and fall semester for first-time freshmen or existing students.
- Application Deadline: Spring: April 29 / Fall: November 18
Application Requirements
Essay – A core value at Granular is innovation, which sometimes comes from unlikely places.
In an essay between 500 and 750 words, tell us about the following:
- Describe a time when you had to think creatively to solve a problem or achieve a goal. How did this experience shape your perspective on innovation and adaptability, and how do you see these qualities influencing your future?
- Tell us about a time when you made a meaningful contribution to your community or helped someone in need. What motivated you to take action, and how did this experience influence your sense of responsibility toward others?
- Describe your vision for your future. What are the key goals you hope to achieve, and how do you plan to make a positive impact in your chosen field or community?
High School or College Transcript – 3.2 or higher cumulative GPA required
Selection Criteria
- Participation and leadership in community and school activities
- Must have a 3.2 cumulative GPA or higher
- Originality and creativity of essay submission
